about coleman training
Coleman Training was founded by Caroline Coleman, a trainer and psychotherapist, to offer a fresh approach to training. We now work in a compliance driven culture, which means that training forms a crucial part of our working lives, but training has so much more to offer than simply ticking boxes.
how we work
Our training is interactive and fun, ensuring that learning points are covered and understood by all. Every trainee is important to us and gently encouraged to participate. Training days with Coleman Training are about so much more than learning new skills. We have failed if your staff don’t leave the training room feeling happy, motivated and with a renewed enthusiasm for the task ahead.
learning and language difficulties
We have an abundance of experience in working with people for whom learning may be difficult, for example, people who are dyslexic or when English is not a first language. All we ask is that you let us know prior to the training day. We will tactfully ensure that they have the attention they need to succeed in their learning without embarrassment.
so what are you waiting for?
If you want to achieve more than a tick in a box, then contact us now. We promise to give the highest quality training in an environment that will have your staff asking for me!
some client comments
"Caroline has integrity and always conducts herself professionally. Her training courses are informative, interactive and enjoyable. As Training Manager of a national company, it is essential that both the home managers and staff develop good relationships with the trainers I use, and most importantly that training brings about change. In my experience Caroline not only achieves positive change in the working practices of the residential care homes, she also brings about changes in attitudes. I can highly recommend Caroline as a very competent and empathic trainer."
Helen de Rocher (National Training Manager, Care UK)
"All the staff enjoy Coleman Training. Staff appear to have more insight and understanding of service users with dementia."
Chris Budgen (Deputy Manager, The Burroughs, West Drayton)
"The Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow course has changed the way I view my work with people with dementia. I have a deeper understanding and empathy and believe I now have the skills to deliver the care my residents deserve. You have inspired and encouraged me all the way! Thank you."
Megan Barkham, (Carer, Greville House, Richmond)
