How it works
Before engaging with a potential client, we offer a free consultation, lasting around an hour so that you can tell us about your business and help us to understand your vision. Once we have a clear picture of your goals and aspirations, we will share our initial thoughts with you, which we will confirm by email.
We can help you in a number of ways, such as:
- helping you to prepare for an imminent CQC inspection
- resolving issues resulting from recent inspection
- recruitment and staff retention
- training needs
We begin our work by undertaking an audit of your service. This will include an observation of interactions (using our adapted QUIS tool), an environmental audit, and, if required, a documentation audit, including policies and procedures, care plans and recent CQC inspection reports.
When the audit is complete, we will provide you with a full report, together with an action plan and our free “Better Home, Better Business” toolkit, which includes a variety of resources for assessing and improving your service to ensure that it is compliant, person-centred and profitable.
Our service will be tailored to your needs and may include a realistic blend of suggestions for environmental enhancement, recruitment, coaching, mentoring, training and developing staff. We will also offer suggestions to improve the profitability of the service when appropriate.
Progress is monitored with regular monthly meetings to ensure targets are met and goals are achieved.
