Why choose a Pick & Mix Refresher day?
Refresher training is essential to remain compliant, to ensure that skills are updated and that current best practice is being followed. Arranging effective annual refreshers can be a costly exercise for providers and for experienced staff, often a chore to endure.
Our aim was to deliver a training solution that was fun and engaging for attendees, even people who had attended numerous refresher courses in the past. We wanted to help people to update their skills without feeling that they were going over old ground.
We also wanted to find a realistic solution for commissioners that offered all the benefits of face-to-face training with the cost savings that come from “bundling” several refreshers together.
Our solution is the Pick & Mix Refresher day.
Who is a Pick & Mix Refresher day suitable for?
Our innovative method has been specifically developed for refresher training for experienced staff. It is not suitable for induction training or for new or inexperienced staff. On completion delegates will receive individual certificates for each subject to maintain their training record.
How does it work?
It is simple. You choose up to four subjects that you require your staff to refresh and we will cover all four on a single day. All four subjects are woven into a day of activities, exercises, quiz’s and fun. All outcomes will be met throughout the day, but attendees will not be aware that they are in fact refreshing four subjects at once.
To help, we have put together a selection of refresher “bundles”, but you are free to pick and mix from any of the courses with the pick & mix icon. These are listed below.
