Course Outline

Explore the Depths of Healing: Loss, Grief, and Bereavement Training Course.

Embark on a compassionate journey of understanding and healing with our transformative training course dedicated to navigating loss, grief, and bereavement. Designed with empathy at its core, this course provides a safe and supportive space to explore the profound aspects of the human experience.

Guided by seasoned experts in the field, our program offers a holistic approach to coping with loss, acknowledging the diverse ways individuals navigate grief. Through interactive workshops, and heartfelt discussions, participants will gain insight into the emotional landscapes associated with loss.

The death of a client or colleague can have a profound impact on social care staff, yet this is often overlooked and considered to be “just part of the job”.  This can leave staff feeling isolated and unsupported. This bereavement training acknowledges the impact that loss has on service users, family members, the learner and the wider team.

Explore practical ideas and strategies to build resilience and remain emotionally intact during times of loss. Signpost others to a range of relevant bereavement support, help and advice.

This workshop offers an opportunity for staff to explore their own and others’ response to loss, grief and bereavement and how this impacts on their service.

  • Understand and acknowledge loss and how this may impact on them and the team
  • Increase awareness of the range of response to loss
  • Recognise associated behaviours and risks to the team/service
  • Provide practical ideas and strategies to build resilience and support self and team
  • Signpost to a range of relevant help/advice
