Course Outline
Our Suprapubic Catheter Care course provides the knowledge and skills to support individuals with catheters. You’ll learn what indwelling and suprapubic catheters are, why they are used, and the associated risks.
Led by one of our experienced Clinical Trainers, you’ll also gain practical skills in maintaining, caring for and changing a suprapubic catheter, as well as understanding how to prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) and exploring alternatives to catheters. This course ensures you can provide safe, effective care while supporting individuals with these medical devices.
